Printec takes full advantage of the latest technology for verifying product quality. We will custom design and manufacture membrane switch assemblies in high or low quantities as an individual component part or in combination with metal sub-panels, enclosures, cables, electronics, printed circuit boards, Electro Luminescent lamps or bezels.

ESD protection. If you need membrane switches with ESD protection, additional membrane layers containing insulating materials can be built in to prevent the electrostatic charge from arcing through the membrane panel. If ESD shunting is needed, conductive grids are built right in to absorb electrostatic discharges and shunt them harmlessly to ground, away from sensitive micro-circuits.
RFI Shielding , If you need membrane switches with RFI shielding, we can include one or more layers of solid conductive materials to shield against radiant or intruding radio frequency interference.
Custom overlays. Custom graphic overlays can be produced in colors or textures of your choice, and may include special graphic designs and logos. Your sketch is all we need.
Texture overlay. A variety of textured, hard coat finished have been selected for application to graphic overlays. Texture will add scratch resistance to the film. That' s important.
Embossing. Key borders, full key patterns, graphic representations and dome formed with tactile effect can be embossed into surface of the graphic overlay. You get a premium look and feel. The value speaks for itself.
I/O Tail connectors. Choose a permanently crimped, gas tight connector, or solder tabs, or zero insertion force connectors. Three are very good choices.
Protected circuitry. All Printec stock switches have our exclusive protected circuit feature. This baked carbon overprint on the switch contacts, connector contact points and tail traces will prevent corrosion, silver migration and arcing to insure extended life in harsh environments.
Sheet metal. Multi part enclosures are available in combination with membrane switch panels. They involve anodized or painted sheet metal sub-panels. We' ll trade a sketch for a quote.
Tactile feel. Printec gives you a choice. Select Tactile or Non Tactile feel. You may also choose between high quality Stainless Steel domes or the economy of poly dome tactile.
Integrated chip LED' s. Surface mount chip LED' s can be integrated into the construction of custom membrane switch panels. They are electrically epoxy
bonded. Available in red, yellow or green.
Electro Luminescent Lamps. Printec can combine tactile with switches that
have an EL lamp. Available on request.
